Unique weapons from the extensive collections in the South Carolina Military Museum. They have a very interesting collection of British Army Capt. Peter Mason's espionage tools. Capt. Mason was the real-life model for the fictional "James Bond" character in Ian Fleming's spy novels.
The museum is located behind the SC Military Department's headquarters. The address given is 1 National Guard Rd. However it is more easily accessed by continuing on Bluff, away from downtown and past the stadium. The entrance is just past National Guard Rd on the right.
